437-Pound Blue Marlin Nets $295,000 at Jimmy Johnson Tournament

New Jersey based TLC Sportfishing took home a total of $295,000 with a blue marlin weighing 437 pounds! TLC Sportfishing is owned by Vincent Tague and captained by John Thompson on a 53-foot Jarrett Bay out of Avalon, NJ. This was the only blue marlin weighed in during the tournament.

Top Place Teams Included: 
*2nd place: Outrage_Sport_Fishing won the 1st place White Marlin General Entry, 1st place White Marlin Optional, and 1st place Daily for Days 1-5, and Heaviest White Marlin weighing in at 64.1 pounds on a 52-foot Viking out of Palm Beach, Fl taking home $230,000 

*3rd place: Taylor Jean/MJ’s with the 1st place Tuna General Entry, 1st place Tuna Optional, and 1st place Tuna Daily for Day weighing in a 231-pound Bigeye tuna on a 62ft Viking out of South Jersey, taking home $170,000

*4th place: 2021 Champs, Rollgroove Sportfishing won 1st place Heaviest Wahoo General Entry and 1st place Wahoo Optional for weighing in a 42.2-pound wahoo and 2nd place White Marlin Optional weighing in a 55.3-pound White Marlin, on a 58 Ritchie Howell out of Ocean City, Maryland, taking home $90,000 

Winning the Catch & Release Division, in support of Recreational_Fishing_Alliance presented by Yamaha Outboards was Reelin_Feelin_Sportfishing with 700 points for 1 blue marlin and 2 white marlin releases.

Winning the Small Boat Tuna Division presented by Contender Boats was team End Game Tournament Team weighing in a 208-pound tuna on a 32 Contender.
